Join one of our 20-plus student clubs, programs, or professional societies that organize a variety of activities, including such things as guest speakers, field trips, and social events. Get real-world experience in engineering or architecture while leading a team in regional or national competitions. Student groups have built such things as a solar-powered boat, a concrete canoe, robots, a chemically-powered car, and a real airplane. The College of Engineering and Architecture Coordinating Council (CEACC) is the governing organization of student groups in the college. The group is composed of representatives from all student groups within the college. Student Club Highlight: Material Advantage Imagine entering into a field in which only 800 – 1,000 people nationally receive a degree each year. Now imagine your cohort consists of approximately ten people – and that is considered high! This is what a typical WSU student majoring in Material Science Engineering encounters. Luckily for them there is a professional society just for them – Material Advantage.[more] Contact Information
