Dean's Scholarships

The College of Engineering and Architecture offers more than 300 Dean's Scholarships a year to incoming freshmen and transfer students.  To be eligible for these scholarships, all students, including transfer students, apply to Washington State University and, at the same time, apply for the scholarship using the online University scholarship application. The deadline is January 31. Freshmen with high academic achievement (high school grade point average and pre-college test scores) will be considered.  Students are encouraged to apply early both for admission and for the Dean's Scholarships, as the number of scholarships awarded is limited by the funds available each year.

Transfer students who have completed the calculus series and the calculus-based physics series or the chemistry series with a GPA of 3.2 or higher will also be considered for these scholarships. Transfer students having met these requirements should complete a WSU Scholarship Application. As stated on the WSU Scholarship Services web site, in order to be considered for a scholarship you must apply to WSU and complete your WSU Scholarship Application by January 31. For more information click here or e-mail ceainfo@wsu.edu.
